Pero una parte muy valiosa del conocimiento humano vive en instituciones: investigaciones, colecciones, manuales técnicos, protocolos y archivos que nunca se publicaron en la web.Today the archive draws on major public sources: Wikipedia, WikiMed, OpenStreetMap and Project Gutenberg. But a very valuable share of human knowledge lives in institutions: research, collections, technical manuals, protocols and archives that were never published online.

Las instituciones que contribuyen permiten que ese conocimiento también se preserve y pueda enseñarse cuando más se necesite.Contributing institutions make it possible for that knowledge to be preserved too, and taught when it is needed most.

  1. Derechos sobre el material.Rights to the material. La institución declara contar con los derechos necesarios para ceder el material, o que este es de dominio público.The institution states that it holds the rights needed to contribute the material, or that the material is in the public domain.
  2. Licencia.License. La institución otorga al Proyecto Delfos una licencia no exclusiva, gratuita y por tiempo indefinido para preservar, reproducir, adaptar el formato y distribuir el material como parte del archivo, incluidas sus copias sin conexión. La titularidad sigue siendo de la institución.The institution grants the Delphi Project a non-exclusive, free and perpetual license to preserve, reproduce, reformat and distribute the material as part of the archive, including its offline copies. Ownership remains with the institution.
  3. Crédito.Credit. El Proyecto Delfos mencionará a la institución como contribuyente.The Delphi Project will credit the institution as a contributor.
